Zeal celebrates pre-opening awards

Zeal Hotels is thrilled to have been recognised for our innovation ahead of the open of voco Zeal Exeter Science Parknext year.

Our net zero carbon hotel is the first of its kind and is already setting new sustainability standards.

The hotel was named as the Sustainable Project of the Year at this year's Insider Media's 2024 South West Property Awards.

The judges said: “The Zeal Hotels project clinched the win with its impressive metrics, including plans to produce more electricity than it will consume via photovoltaic roof and wall panels.”

The voco Zeal Exeter Science Park also won the Sustainability category at the first-ever Business of the Year Awards in the South West organised by TheBusinessDesk.com.

With our partners, RED Construction Group, we were also honoured to have been selected as finalists in the Building Innovation Awards Most Sustainable Building Project for the hotel.
